My name is Meg Stearns.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Craniosacral Therapist based in Portland, Oregon. I have been in practice since 2016.

Bodywork is my passion as well as my career, and I am committed to offering informed, ethical, personalized therapeutic work that is responsive to the unique needs of each client, and honors their worth.

After completing my undergraduate education in Philosophy and Linguistics in Seattle, WA and spending several years in the service industry, I found myself increasingly drawn to the healing arts and to massage specifically. I spent a few years in Billings, MT, where I attended massage training school at Mossmain College of Massage, graduating in 2016. I practiced in Billings for one year, and then returned to Seattle to practice full time. In January of 2021 I started my own private practice, which I relocated to Portland, OR in June of 2022. When not working in my peaceful, cozy space at Springwater Wellness, I enjoy running, yoga, camping, travel, and above all else, reading.

I specialize in deep tissue massage, craniosacral therapy, pain management, injury treatment, therapeutic relaxation, prenatal massage, and athletic support.

My work is influenced by my avid interest in anatomy, kinesiology, and exercise science, as well as my belief in the power of the body to heal when it is deeply nurtured. I seek to incorporate my knowledge of structure and movement patterns into my assessment and treatment process, and to share this perspective with my clients as we work together towards balance and maintenance of well-being.
